Drisiúr and this website are made by me, John Henry Donovan, in Cork, Ireland. If you have a question about any of this, write to hello@drisiur.app.
The app
Drisiúr has no account, no telemetry and no analytics. Your library is a file on your own computer, and I never see it.
It only goes online when you ask it to look something up, and to fetch covers and card set lists. Those requests go to the services you’ve switched on, each under its own terms. What goes over the network lists every one.
This website
- Visits are counted with Clicky, run by Roxr Software Ltd. When you load a page, your browser tells Clicky which page you’re on, which page sent you there, and roughly what browser and device you’re using. I use it to see which pages people actually read.
- Clicky is set to its strictest privacy mode for every visitor, not just those in the EEA. Your IP address is anonymised rather than stored, no tracking cookies are set, and global opt-out signals are honoured. Clicky isn’t an advertising network, it doesn’t follow you to other sites, and I couldn’t identify you from anything it records.
- Hosting is by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it handles your IP address to send you the pages and to keep the site safe from attacks.
- Fonts and images all come from this site. Nothing else is loaded from anywhere else.
The newsletter
If you sign up, your email address is kept by Buttondown, which sends the emails. I use it only to send news about Drisiúr: the odd note on how it’s going, and one when it’s ready. I don’t sell it or share it with anyone else.
You’ll get a link to confirm before anything else is sent, and every email has a link to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing stops the emails straight away.
Asking about your data
You can ask me what I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it: write to hello@drisiur.app. If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled it, you can complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission.
